Here are many of my pictures I took from Cebu.

This photo was taken at the beach in Shangri-la hotel beach with me, my mom, my dad and my brother. This was a family photo. I was happy so we asked someone to take us a family photo.

This photo was taken in a boat at Cebu and the photo you are looking now is my dad. I also went snorkeling and it was exiting and cool to look at the fish and I even gave the fish some bread!



This photo was taken at the Shangri-la hotel beach just before me and my dad went jetskiing. Jetskiing was the best and the coolest thing that I did at the beach.



This photo was taken when me and my dad went kayaking in the Shangri-la hotel beach. It was fastastic to row the boat and go to the deep sea and see what was outside.



This picture was taken before I went snorkeling. As I said earlier it was cool and exiting looking at all the sea creatures.

If you don't think its enough photos no need to worry because I am going to upload all the good photos soon. This is less then 5 percent of the good photos!

Typhoon signal no.9 injures at least 7

The typhoon signal 8 was issued just before 8AM today so I didn't have to go to school. Then at 1:40PM the Hong Kong observatory issued the typhoon signal no.9 for the first time in five years! In September 2003 typhoon Dujian hit the city and the typhoon signal 9 was issued. At least 7 people have been injured because of a storm and one man has one missing after surfing in Big Wave Bay beach. Rescuers have not found the man. The typhoon was a direct hit but the typhoon no.10 was not issued. HKO thought they might issue the number 1o signal the first time in 9 years after Typhoon York hit Hong Kong in September 1999. There were about 25 trees which fell down and about 50 scaffolding's and advertisements fell down and many roads had to close. All bus services and ferry services are canceled and were cancelled since 10AM.

Cebu 2

Now I have been in Cebu for 4 days and there are only 2 days left till we get back to Hong Kong . Yesterday we rented a boat which took us island hopping from our island to another. Because of the slow internet I can't upload any photos yet but when I get back to Hong Kong I will upload the photos. Anyway I went snorkeling and tomorrow depending on the weather I might go kayaking. The room at my hotel is nice about 500 square feet and the cleaning people clean our rooms 2 times every day replacing water, shampoo's and towels. They also replace the bed sheets. In this hotel there are many facilities including tennis, swimming pools, a lovely beach, ping pong courts, restaurants, children play areas and more! The internet only works in the main lobby which is a 5 minute walk away from my hotel room. There is in room internet but it is expensive and slow so I just do it for free in the lobby.

Cebu

I am at Cebu right now and I am at the Shangri-la hotel in Mactan. Its pretty big with more than 500 rooms and 5 restaurants but unfortunately the food in the restaurants isn't very yummy but the breakfast is OK. I will stay there till the 15th of August before I come back to Hong Kong. I just came here yesterday on the 10th so I will stay here for another 5 days and 4 nights till I have to go back home. I will upload my blog every other day when I am at Cebu so check regularly. I will also show you some pictures on Wednesday.

Summer School

Yesterday I started summer school. At the school its boring but on the school bus I play my NDS with my Korean friend Dongwon. I play Mario Cart DS or New Super Mario Bros or Pokemon Diamond. I have a Nintendo DS Lite and I use that to play games on the bus because it takes 1 hour 15 minutes to KIS in Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong, China. At school our teacher teaches us Korean, Math, and everything else except Art, Swimming and this thing with a wod knife.

Black rainstorm warning in HK kills 2

The bad weather in Hong Kong caused 2 people to die and at least 4 injured in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Observatory first issued the amber rainstorm warning at about half past 4 in the morning. Then soon after that the black rainstorm warning was raised in 6:40AM yesterday. At least 15 vehicles were broken down. The Lantau highway was flooded up to 170mm and it was closed until 4 in the afternoon. This caused people to ride the Airport Express and the people had to squeeze in. More then 400 flights were delayed and 14 flights were cancelled because of the rain. 304.3mm of rain was recorded from the HK Observatory and that was the heaviest rainfall since 1884 when the HK Observatory first opened. It was a big record for many people.

Got new macbook

My dad bought me a new 160GB DVD-RW and 2GB RAM with Intel Duo core 2. The Macbook costs HKD$10600. You can order your iMac, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Mac mini, *iPhone or Macbook Air at www.apple.com (For the US only). For other countries type in apple and your country's name (eg. apple Hong Kong) on Google, yahoo or any other search browser. I really like the Mac because you can also use Windows on your Mac. Also programs like Keynote or Pages are better then Microsoft Powerpoint or Microsoft Word. My dad is also getting me Office Mac 2008 for me. The battery on here lasts long so you never have t worry about losing your battery power.

Jeri Telstar

I have read a book called Jeri Telstar and it is very fun for children. Its not long so I will show you what happened in the story. His name was Jeremiah Lee. He was a good boy and he did lots of work. But when he came to school he caught a giant bug and gave it to his teacher if it was nature day this would be a good thing but it was bake sale day. He got into trouble many times and was suspended from school for 3 month. He wanted to play with is Nintendo Gametoy but his parents took him to another school. But the school was very far away from his house so he went to his Nan. The towns name was Utter Backwater. His granma always nitted but one day he was bored so he went to the Knitting club where his nan was. His jaw dropped when he saw his granny with headphones and computers. His granny told him that she couldn't tell him what the 3 nans were doing because it was top secret. Jeremiah wanted to really know so they made a deal. Jeremiah promised to not tell anyone what they were doing. They showed him what they were doing but Jeremiah wanted to be Captain Heromen. His granny's made him to captain Heromen. A few days later he went to school. School was normal. Then someone asked him "do you like homework"? Jeremiah said yes. At the back of the book there are some interesting facts. Air Crash Investigation videos

I have been seeing lots of Air Crash Investigation videos. I like them because I learned what happened and what caused the crash. They are a pretty scary and PG is needed because many people die and there are lots of words that children don't know.

My favourite plane crash video is Pan Am 1736 and KLM flight 4805. These two flights collided each other. It is the worst plane crash in history because 583 people died in the crash in 1977.

There are several reasons why a plane crash can happen and those are: Pilot Mistake, Hijaking, Engine Falure, Bomb Terrorist, Bad Weather and Faulty Engine.
